Our story
I'm opening my own dealership here in Utah, and I've been exactly where you are — starting the licensing process with more questions than answers.
Two things stayed with me. The required course told me the rules but not what to do with them. And the licensing itself was a scavenger hunt — the state wants one thing, the city another, the IRS a third, and nobody hands you the checklist.
Five agencies, a dozen forms, and no single place that tells you the order. That's the part that costs people months — not the rules.
So I built this in two parts. The course checks the box Utah requires — 8 hours of short narrated units you can finish on your phone, in plain language instead of statute-speak. But the part that will actually save you time and money is free: a step-by-step guide to becoming a dealer — the bond, the lot, the forms, the real costs, and the snags that cost me weeks — so you don't pay rent on a lot you can't use or lose a month to a form filled out wrong.
I'm working toward the same license you are, and I know exactly what this road feels like. If you get stuck anywhere along the way, write to me — I read every message and answer it myself. That's the whole idea of this school.
I'm not a teacher by trade — I come from finance and found my way into the car business. I built this school because I lived how confusing this process is. If I save you that confusion, the course did its job.
